FOOT LOCKER
ART FABRICATION
What do you do with 2,500 yards of black and white shoelaces? Turn them into a one-of-a-kind textile installation for Foot Locker’s New York City headquarters, of course! Working alongside JLL, Foot Locker’s corporate and retail interior design partner, PGF transformed an everyday staple into an oversized brand statement through custom weaving and textile art fabrication.
From concept to completion, the project took approximately 900 hours, bringing together 11 fabricators, more than 10 weaving techniques, and plenty of hands-on ingenuity. Now permanently installed in the café at Foot Locker’s global headquarters, the two large-scale wall pieces showcase the power of material experimentation, technical precision, and collaborative craftsmanship to transform an unexpected material into a striking, uplifting feature in the heart of this iconic brand.
