Visionary designer Alexa Stark will be leading a two day design + make ReWorkshop at PGF (1/25-1/26). Alexa will guide a small group through the process of reworking pre-existing clothing to design and make new unique pieces. This workshop was created for those who are curious about clothing design, conceptualization, and construction. Workshop tuition includes all materials, catered lunch on Saturday, snacks & drinks. Alexa Stark is an internationally celebrated Portland-based designer. Her clothing is a reflection of the complex age we live in, creatively balancing the practical and the spectacle in clothing design. A graduate of Parsons in New York City, Alexa’s designs have been shown and sold in New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Seoul, and Portland. Alexa has taught workshops in Portland at PGF and Oregon College of Art and Craft, and in Italy through The New York Times Student Journeys program.
